Cowgirl Creamery is a dairy production company located at Point Reyes Station in California. The owners, Sue Conley and Peggy Smith, focus on local, natural ingredients and sustainable agriculture.

I was inspired by the crude and handmade packages commonly found at my local farmer’s market. I want to incorporate that same fun and busy energy to separate the brand from other large corporate designed packages. The goal is to create a package that is alluring, unique, and environmentally sustainable.
The tag gives a brief breakdown of the cheese. It also serves as a cutting tool when pulled apart. The user can use the embedded string to separate the cheese.
